Evidence from Page 100 onwards

Here is the evidence from Page 100 onwards.

1. pg 99, ‘He saw the pool as it must once have been … promise of a good swim after work.’ (why does he need to swim after work?)
2. pg 100, ‘ruffling my hair and tickling my gills’ (she has gills)
3. pg 106, ‘spent 3 hrs in the pool … I didn’t have to surface again.’ (normal person CANNOT spend 3 hrs underwater without surfacing.)
4. pg 119, ‘he turned … good buzz of oxygen.’ (he get oxygen underwater?)
5. pg 121, ‘no-gill guy’ (sb without gills is considered not normal)
6. pg 122, ‘Kiw P’s … even if he is a freak.’ (no gills = freak)
7. pg 127, ‘Big Bro once … on a hot dry night’.
8. pg 138, ‘he actually said he’d sleep … swim under the stars’ (humans would not want to spend whole night in the water --- too cold and how to breathe if you sank down when you fell asleep??)
9. pg 143, ‘so that felt good, mostly. It was … fish out of water.’
10. pg 144, ‘he felt dizzy. The water … He should just let the O2 do its work.’ (he can breathe in O2 underwater)
11. pg170, ‘he tried to climb out, … couldn’t wake up.’
12. pg 173, ‘they’d been dipping … scabby and cracked.’
13. pg 175, ‘I’d trade … right now.’
14. pg 179, ‘our skins just drank it up’. (human skin don’t drink water up)
15. pg 185, ‘he opened his mouth … lungs again.’ (here is the evidence that he has lungs, and breathe using his gills when underwater)
